I chose this quote in celebration of Black History Month. A month that is not only designated for love but for the remembrance of important people and events in the history of African Americans. Celebrating our history of achievements and many contributions to society as a whole. It is because of individuals like Harriet Tubman that I can be free to be whom ever I desire to be. So true. In celebration of black history month I salute those who went through the struggle to make a better way for mankind. Thanks to them I can be a strong independent black woman who can make a difference in society.
