Weekend in Review

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. For the first time in a while, it felt great outside. The warmer temps made for an impromptu weekend. 

Saturday started off busy, in addition to my older sons soccer game with team pictures and my daughters 2 violin practices, my baby son started soccer. He has wanted to play for a long time now, especially since his big bro plays. His first game was extremely unorganized and chaotic. Coming from my older sons league this set-up was totally different and had us at odds but he wants to return next week, so we will endure.

After the last soccer game, we decided to fuel up on some delicious ice-cream. We headed to the park and let the kids play. Cherry blossoms are in bloom and I snapped a few pictures while the kids played. It seemed like everyone was there which made for a great game of hide-n-seek.

On Sunday the spring cleaning bug bit me and I moseyed through the house happily cleaning. Just like Giselle in Enchanted except without all the animals! Dr.J surprised me with a bouquet of tulips, my favorite flower. He also brought me my first pair of Sperry's. I love them!

In more house related news, my shutters were put up. I am so happy they are done. I even had to do a couple of drive-bys to peer at their awesomeness. I even squealed, I am such a nerd! I will share new pictures of the house soon.
