Best of August

Happy Friday! I am so excited that the weekend is here. I will try my darnedest to accomplish something off my to-do list this weekend. I can't seem to keep my head above water since starting my job. On August 1st my summer hangout crew went back to school. I always commemorate this day in photos on the porch. They are having a great year so far!

The first week of August was a big week, we started out with school and then ended the week with a birthday. My baby celebrated his 9th birthday. We took Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to his class and they were a hit! He wants to do a campover sleepover, but we are waiting for it to cool down a bit.

I was getting requests so I shared where I found my vintage botanical prints and where I had them printed. Murphy's Law struck and we got some bad news about our water heater. I have yet to report back to you what we did. It turned out better than we expected! I finally finished my raised garden planter bed and showed you how we built it.
