Pumpkin Patch 2013

Hello! Last week was a stressful week for me. So I took a break from posting to turn my attention elsewhere. I want to say a big thank you to all my family and friends who kept my daughter in their thoughts and prayers.

On Sunday, October 20 we went to the pumpkin patch. We go every year to the same farm but this year we shook things up and went to a new farm. You can find last years festivities here. The kids had a great time and there were a couple of new activities to try at this farm.

We slid down Mega Slide Mountain, shot corn cobs from the Corn Cannon and pumpkins in the Pumpkin Slingshots! I tried the pumpkin slingshot and even though I missed my targets, it was so fun! I tried fried pickles for the first time and they were surprisingly good.

That was one of the biggest chairs I have ever seen!

All in all we enjoyed ourselves but we missed taking the hay ride to the pumpkin patch and picking pumpkins from the very spot they grew at the other farm.
